Masquerade
We invite you to the second evening event
of the Ethnic Cultural Center
As many of you know, the current ECC building will be torn down very soon to make way for a brand new ECC building. Many of us who have been part of the ECC are excited at the new possibilities a new building brings. But, we are also sad to see the current building go because it contains 39 years of memorable experiences that give the building spirit and meaning. This will be hard to let it go.
Let us get together to honor the building by remembering these wonderful memories, and prepare to carry them with us into our temporary location in Condon Hall, and then into our new building in 2012. We invite you - students, community leaders, alumni, faculty, and staff - to help us celebrate with an evening of music, light refreshments and food – and most importantly – of reconnecting across generations within the ECC family.
Please RSVP by November 26th as space and refreshments are limited.
Attire
This is a semi-formal event, so please come dressed up (semi-formal) however we strongly support dressing up in your finest mask!
Parking
There is parking free parking along Brooklyn Ave NE and surrounding streets and a paid lot across the street, next to the ECC Theatre (Lot W12, Cost $5 flat fee after 4pm).

Raffles
The event features raffles throughout the evening including UW Husky gear, UW Men's basketball tickets, a football autographed by members of the UW football team, and much more! Masquerade Me ticket buyers will receive one entry to win the Marvin Oliver serigraph.

For 41 years, The Ethnic Cultural Center has been working hard promoting an inclusive and educational environment on campus by providing programs and services which enhance the communication and exchange of multicultural perspectives and values.
We believe that significant learning takes place outside of the classroom for students, and their involvement in student organizations and programs contributes significantly to students' academic studies, the University community, and enhances the recruitment and retention of underrepresented students.
